Management is the process of planning, organizing, leading, staffing and controlling yhe activities of various resource within the organization through systematic, coordinated and cooperative human efforts to achive organizational activities.

Harold Koontz and Heinz Weihrich defined management as 'the process of designing and maintaining an environment in which individusals, working together in groups, efficiently accomplish selected aims'

Introduction with Managment

Management involves managing efficiently and effectively the activities of men, machines, material and money. Efficiency refers to getting the maximum output from the available scarce resources i.e. 'Doing Things Right'. Effectiveness refers to 'Doing The Right Things' to achive desired organizational objectives.

Every organization works towards acheving some common goald\s and formulates method to achive these goals. Managers are the people within the organizations who play a vital rale towards achiving the organization`s goals by monitoring and controlling the organizational activities.
